Social, Recreational, Fitness and Sports

 

Activities will be planned around the old and the aged ranging from art, singing, integrated with the middle and old on sports and fitness programs to keep the people lively and healthy.


Art Group
People of all ages and abilities are welcome to join this friendly group. Why not come along and find your hidden talents with a qualified teacher to oversee your progress on different art programes.

Bar Our fully licensed bar serves a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. An ideal place to relax after your activity!
Open weekday evenings from 7pm till the centre closes

Coffee Shop

Our coffee shop is fully stocked with a range of healthy snacks and soft drinks. Purchases can be made from the coffee shop at any time just ask a member of staff who will be happy to serve you.

Integrated Youth Club

This is an integrated Youth club for young people aged between 8 and 18. There are lots of sporting activities to take part in and a great way to make new friends!

Singing Group

People of all ages and abilities are welcome to join this friendly group. You will have the chance to take part in regular concerts throughout the year. No voice test required!
Pool Table and Table Tennis

Pool Table and Tennis will be  available during the centres opening times. Please ask at reception for more information.

Indoor Bowls

Our hall  will be  available for Bowls

 

SPORTS & FITNESS

 

Archery

We have weekly practice sessions and monthly competitions. All Archers must be over 12 and must have completed a 6 week beginners course with one of our qualified instructors. For more info on courses and special events ask at reception or speak to one of our instructors on club nights.

YouFit

Under 16? We have a gym session dedicated to young people who want to use the gym to keep fit and healthy. Book an induction now with our specifically qualified leaders Paul and Claire.

Keep fit and Gentle moves

Gentle moves is a gentle work out to music to help improve mobility and fitness and is suitable for those with restricted movements. This is suitable for wheelchair users as most activities are done seated. Keep fit is a more active, but not too strenuous class. Both classes are under the professional instruction of a qualified instructor.

Young at Heart

This is a workout in the fitness room. It is aimed at those over 50 who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You can have a game of table tennis and refreshments are always available
